Simple Extractions
A simple extraction will be carried out when a tooth has completely erupted through the gum and is easily accessible, meaning no incisions will be needed. This type of extraction would be done in the office using local anesthesia and/or nitrous oxide to numb the area.

A lot of the time the specific cause for this disorder may not be clear, but there are a few culprits that could be the source of the issue. These may include involuntary teeth grinding or clenching, and excessive strain on the jaw joints and muscle groups that control the chewing, swallowing, and speech process.
Headache Aids
Related to the TMJ problems above, clenching and grinding of the teeth can cause facial, head, and neck muscles to strain and cause temporal headaches. Relief of these symptoms might be a few dental visits away!
