Dr. Tyler Wolf
Dr. Tyler Wolf grew up right here in Jenison, Michigan. He attended Jenison High School, where he enjoyed time on the football field and baseball diamond, eventually graduating near the top of his class.
Dr. Wolf attended Grand Valley State University as a Board of Control Scholar. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Honors College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Sciences.
With help from a competitive grant from the West Michigan Dental Foundation, he attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) in 2000.
After working for 2 years as an associate dentist in private practice in Grandville, Dr. Wolf joined what was then Dental Group West at the present location in Jenison. He purchased the practice 3 years later, and along with an incredible team, he has spent the past two decades working hard to make Georgetown Family & Cosmetic Dentistry what it is today.
Dr. Wolf has volunteered much time outside of his practice using his skills to give back to the community. He participates in both the Adult Dental Services and Donated Dental Services programs which serve lower-income or health-challenged individuals. He has given much time to childrens’ dental health by volunteering on the Ottawa County Miles of Smiles Bus and at Kent County’s Clinica Santa Maria. He has also spent many hours doing dentistry at Mel Trotter in downtown Grand Rapids.
Dr. Wolf also gives of himself to the organized side of the profession by serving for a decade on the West Michigan District Dental Society board- ultimately as its President.
Most important to him, outside of the office, he loves to spend time with his family. He speaks proudly and often that they are a “baseball family” - growing up playing baseball himself, and now coaching too many Little League and Club ballgames to count for his two sons, Noah and Cameron. He and his wife Jennifer, with the two boys, are also trying to attend a game at every MLB baseball stadium in the country. Last count is 18!
